The San'in Kaigan UNESCO Global Geopark stretches along Tottori's coast with volcanic rock formations, sea caves, and hidden beaches. Walking trails along the cliffs offer views of columnar basalt formations and turquoise coves. The Uradome Coast section has glass-bottom boat tours through sea caves and rock arches.

Local tips

The glass-bottom boat tours from Ajiro run summer only. The transparency of the water is exceptional. Bring snorkel gear for the hidden coves.
