The pastries are Danish-style, but the building is the main event. It’s a 1925 bank that survived the atomic blast, its reinforced concrete frame standing just 360 meters from the hypocenter. The bakery came later, a post-war business in a pre-war structure that remains a Hiroshima landmark.
