Fukuda Shrine and Yoshimori-dō are two locations for the Ōmiya Odori, a traditional dance performed as part of the summer Obon festival in Maniwa.
Fukuda Shrine and Yoshimori-do are two venues for the Omiya Odori, a traditional fox-step dance performed during Obon each July and August in Maniwa. Fukuda Shrine, traceable to at least the 13th century, hosts the finale on August 15. The dance floor is covered by a copper roof green with age, while spectators watch from three open sides. Above the floor hang centuries of donated votive paintings depicting scenes from Japanese history. Two ginkgo trees on the grounds are thought to be around 650 years old. Yoshimori-do, a modest open-sided pavilion nearby, stands beside granite pagodas dated to around 1300 and houses a 400-year-old wooden Amida Buddha.
