Busena Marine
ブセナ海中公園
Overview
Beachfront park with an underwater observatory tower, glass-bottom boats, and views of tropical fish and coral.
At the tip of the Busena Peninsula in Nago, this marine facility lets you see the reef without getting wet. An underwater observatory extends out over the water, and through its porthole windows you watch reef fish, coral, and occasionally sea turtles moving through the blue. Glass-bottom boat tours depart every thirty minutes and take you over shallow sections where visibility can reach ten meters on calm days. The surrounding grounds have picnic areas and a gift shop. It's a practical stop for families or anyone who wants a look at Okinawa's marine ecosystem without committing to a full dive or snorkel session.
