Overview
Brick ruins that emerge from the lake in summer.
Often called the 'Castle in the Sky' of the water. These Meiji-era brick ruins are usually submerged in the dam lake but emerge fully in summer (May-Sept) when water levels are lowered. The European-style brickwork against the water is hauntingly beautiful.
