Uninhabited turquoise sandbar reachable only by summer ferry, nicknamed 'Hawaii of Hokuriku.'
Accessible only by a 10-minute ferry running in July and August, this uninhabited 500-meter sandbar in Tsuruga Bay has turquoise water so clear it earned the nickname 'Hawaii of Hokuriku.' The shallow lagoon on the landward side is warm enough for children, while the deeper ocean side offers snorkeling over rocky reefs. Bring everything you need, as there are no facilities on the island.
