Arrive at 8 AM for a quiet visit. The stream-side approach is wheelchair accessible, but the inner shrine's pebbled paths are not. The shrine's two large sand cones are rebuilt monthly; for the most pristine view, visit on the first of the month, right after their reconstruction.
