Standing 31.5 meters tall on the easternmost point of the Kanto region, this 1874 brick lighthouse was built with first-order Fresnel lens technology and is registered as a Tangible Cultural Property. Climb the spiral staircase for 360-degree views where the Pacific meets Tone River waters. Below the cliff, dramatic wave-carved rocks and tide pools stretch along the coast. Choshi's soy sauce town and fish market are a short drive away.
