Overview
Remote mountain onsen in Okukinu featuring multiple natural waterfall baths.
Located in the remote Okukinu region, accessible only by a 90-minute hike or the ryokan's own shuttle bus from the end of the public road. It is a hidden paradise featuring multiple outdoor mixed-gender pools that sit directly at the base of several small waterfalls. The water is a simple alkaline spring, incredibly clear and gentle. The facility is a traditional log-cabin style ryokan that prides itself on its 'secret hot spring' status. While it is a remote destination, it is fully tattoo-friendly and actively welcomes hikers and adventurers. It offers one of the most serene and profound natural bathing experiences in the Kanto region, completely isolated from modern life.
