Overview

Clean and well-maintained neighborhood sento near the Philosopher's Path.

Small but exceptionally clean neighborhood sento located near the northern end of the Philosopher's Path. While it does not use volcanic spring water, it is famous for its 'ultra-softened' water which is processed to be extremely gentle on the skin. It is a favorite for hikers returning from the nearby Higashiyama mountains. The facility is modern and bright, with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. It is known to be very relaxed about tattoos, making it a popular choice for international students and travelers staying in the Sakyo-ku area. It offers a variety of baths including an electric bath and a high-temperature sauna.
