1,500-year washi paper-making village, hand-dip traditional sheets with flower embeddings.
The center of Japan's finest paper-making tradition, where washi has been produced for 1,500 years. The village's workshops teach hand-dipping using the traditional sugeta screen, with options to embed flowers or create postcards.
The postcard-making session is quickest (30 min). Full sheets need drying but can be picked up same day.
