Coffee Room Kiku-izumi
cafe
菊泉
Cafe located in a pink Taisho-era building, famous for its parfait and retro vibe.
Housed in a gorgeous pink-painted Taisho-era building (early 1900s), this cafe is a Hakodate landmark both for its architecture and its towering parfaits. The retro interior features stained glass, dark wood paneling, and cushioned booth seating that transports you back a century. The fruit parfaits and cream sodas are the signature orders, served in tall glass vessels that practically beg to be photographed. It's a wonderful spot to slow down between sightseeing, especially on the second floor where afternoon light streams through the colored windows.
