Nasushiobara is the prefectural seat for Shiobara Onsen, a wooded valley of inns and pedestrian suspension bridges along the Hoki River, separate from Nikko's UNESCO complex 30 km west. Yuppo no Sato runs a 60-meter foot bath around a viewing pond at the town's center. Ryuka Falls and Senbonmatsu Dairy Farms anchor the side trips.
