Zanpa Beach

On the western coast of Yomitan in central Okinawa, at the base of Cape Zanpa where a large red-and-white lighthouse sits on the rocky headland. The beach has white sand and clear water, and the main activity here is water sports: banana boat rides, jet skis, snorkeling equipment rental, and glass-bottom boat tours all operate from the beach during peak season. The adjacent Ryukyu Village cultural park is walkable from the beach for those who want to pair the visit with a look at traditional Okinawan architecture and crafts. Parking is available and the beach has full facilities.
