Overview
Volcanic lake fed by hot and cold springs, producing ethereal morning mist year-round.
A small volcanic lake fed by both hot springs and cold springs, creating morning mist that rises from its surface year-round in an ethereal display. Named for the golden fish scales that glitter when sunset light hits the water, the lake sits at the base of Mount Yufu and is fringed by a small Tenso shrine and bathhouse.
