Yubune Forest Park is a popular location for both residents and visitors to enjoy picnicking, mountain biking, autumn mushroom picking, and other outdoor activities.
Yubune Forest Park in Wazuka is a weekend destination for mountain biking, riverside wading, picnicking, and forest walks. The shallow river running through the park is calm enough for young children to wade in during summer. A designated barbeque area with equipment rental draws families and groups. The park is home to Yubune MTB Land, a well-regarded network of mountain bike trails for all skill levels, chosen to host the mountain biking event at the 2027 World Masters Games. Entry costs 500 yen for adults. The park is open Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays only, and advance reservations are required through the Wazuka Town Rural Development Promotion Division.
Wash thoroughly at the shower stations before entering the bath. This is non-negotiable etiquette. Bring a small towel but keep it out of the water.
