Yoshiminedera

The draw is a 40-meter pine tree trained horizontally and the views over the Kyoto basin from the temple’s tiered grounds. You get the same spring cherry blossoms and autumn maples as more central temples, but with a fraction of the crowds. Plan for the walk up through rural lanes.
