Yonaha Maehama Beach
beach
与那覇前浜ビーチ
7km pristine white sand beach on Miyako Island, ranked among Japan's finest, turquoise waters and coral reefs.
Seven kilometers of powdery white sand face the East China Sea on Miyako Island, with Kurima Island visible across a narrow channel and connected by a photogenic bridge. The water is shallow and clear enough to see the sandy bottom far from shore, and the long beach means you can find your own stretch even on summer weekends. Jet skiing, parasailing, and banana boat rides are available near the main access points. Come late afternoon: sunsets over Kurima Island are genuinely worth planning around.
