よみうりランド
Overview
Serving up fun to Tokyoites since 1964, featuring 43 attractions and seasonal activities for all ages.
Yomiuri Land has been one of Tokyo's go-to amusement parks since 1964, sitting on a hillside in Kawasaki where the Tama area meets the city's southwestern edge. The park features over 40 rides including roller coasters, a giant Ferris wheel, and water attractions that are especially welcome in summer. From October through February, the park transforms into a dazzling winter illumination wonderland called Jewellumination, with millions of LED lights designed by a world-renowned lighting designer. A gondola lift from nearby Keio-Yomiuri-Land Station offers scenic views of the park and surrounding hills on the way in. The park also houses a Nissan-sponsored driving experience and seasonal events like a pool complex in summer, making it a year-round destination for families.
