Largest Millet collection outside France, set in a sculpture park framed by Mount Fuji.
Set within the sculpture-dotted Geijutsunomori Park with Mount Fuji as a backdrop, this museum houses the largest collection of Jean-Francois Millet paintings outside France, including 70 works by the Barbizon School master. The permanent galleries also feature Yamanashi-born artists and contemporary Japanese printmakers. The park's outdoor sculptures are free to visit and photographed against Fuji at sunset.
