Washuzan Lookout
viewpoint
鷲羽山展望台
A dramatic hilltop viewpoint overlooking the Great Seto Bridge and the island-studded Inland Sea.
Perched on a 133m peak at the southern tip of Okayama Prefecture, Washuzan offers the most photogenic view of the Seto Ohashi Bridge stretching across the Inland Sea. The panorama extends across dozens of islands. At sunset, the bridge silhouette against the orange sky is one of Japan's most underrated views.
Drive or taxi to the second lookout point (Washuzan Dai-ni Tenbodai). It's less crowded with a wider panorama.
