Wada Beach

Wakasa Wada Beach in Fukui Prefecture holds Blue Flag international certification, one of the first beaches in Asia to earn the distinction, for its clear water, clean sand, and well-maintained facilities. The shallow, gentle surf makes it safe for young children, while the transparency of the water draws snorkelers and paddleboarders through July and August.
