Glass-floored observation walkway suspended 45 meters above the Naruto Strait, offering thrilling whirlpool views.
Uzu-no-Michi is a 450-meter enclosed promenade built into the lower deck of the Onaruto Bridge, hanging 45 meters above the Naruto Strait. Glass floor panels at the observation end offer a direct view down to the famous whirlpools forming and spinning below. The vortexes are most powerful during tidal shifts roughly every six hours, so checking the schedule before you visit makes a real difference. Informational displays along the walkway explain the tidal mechanics and the bridge's engineering. Unlike boat tours on the water, this vantage point lets you see multiple whirlpools at once and appreciate their full scale, sometimes stretching 20 meters across.
