From the Meiji era through to the Showa era, Tsuruga was a prosperous port town, notably serving as a link between Japan and Europe. One of Japan’s most prominent brick structures, the Red Brick Warehouse stands as a symbol of that past, and was transformed into a sightseeing destination in 2015.
