Tsuboya Yachimun Street
landmark
壺屋やちむん通り
Historic birthplace of Okinawan pottery.
A charming cobblestone street lined with traditional pottery (Yachimun) workshops and galleries. The area survived WWII largely intact, so it retains old limestone walls and red-tiled roofs. You can buy authentic shisa dogs and tableware directly from artisans.
