Triangle Park (Sankaku Koen)

三角公園
Wedge-shaped concrete plaza at the heart of Amerika-Mura; the youth-culture loitering ground since the 1970s.
A small wedge-shaped concrete plaza at the geographic heart of Amerika-Mura, formed by the intersection of three streets. Since the 1970s the plaza has been the youth-culture loitering ground for Osaka teens, skaters, and street performers. The plaza hosts informal markets on weekends and is the canonical meet-up spot for entering the surrounding vintage-shop grid.
The graffiti-covered south wall changes monthly. Saturday nights have the densest performer scene; weekday afternoons are calmer for browsing the surrounding shops.
