Overview
A rugged, hidden coastal cove used as the original shipping port for Iwami's silver.
A secluded, rocky cove that served as the original shipping port for the silver extracted from Iwami Ginzan. The narrow inlet naturally protected the precious cargo from rough seas. It remains a quiet, rugged coastal spot with deep historical ties to early global trade.
Local tips
The hike down to the cove is steep and unpaved, so sturdy shoes are highly recommended.
