For those who like jazz music, Tokyo Jazz showcases some of the finest jazz performances from across the world. Taking place in the middle of summer, the event runs for several days in early August and sees an eclectic array of artists make their way to Japan's capital city.

Japanese bars often have a table charge (otoshi). A small appetizer served automatically. It's normal, not a scam.
