Osaka Tenmangu Shrine

The Tenjin Matsuri peaks on the evening of July 25th. This is the main event, when 100 lit boats move up the Okawa River under an hour of fireworks. The view is bright reflections on the water, but the reality is a million people on the banks. Arrive early for a spot.
