夷 夷谷の寺社群
The precincts of the Ebisuiwaya Temple extended throughout the entire Ebisu Valley for several centuries, and the two temples and one shrine that still stand in a row in the Ebisu area were once part.
Three religious sites stand side by side in the Ebisu Valley: Reisenji Temple on the left, Jissoin Temple in the center, and Rokusho Shrine on the right. All three were once part of the larger Ebisuiwaya Temple complex, and together they reflect the Buddhist-Shinto religious blending characteristic of the Kunisaki Peninsula. At Reisenji, a vermilion bell tower gate is flanked by stone nio guardian figures, with a six-meter Jizo Bosatsu statue nearby. Jissoin holds the largest Kunisaki-to pagoda in the area. Rokusho Shrine is dedicated to six deities, represented both by six tall trees in a row and by a cave containing the original shrine structure.
Purify your hands at the temizuya before approaching the main hall. Left hand first, then right, then pour water into your left hand to rinse your mouth.
