Takamatsu Orne

Commercial building directly connected to the JR Takamatsu Station concourse, making it one of the first things you encounter arriving in Shikoku's largest city. The lower floors hold fashion shops and daily goods, and the food floor includes several spots serving Sanuki udon, the flat wheat noodle dish that Kagawa Prefecture has made its culinary identity. The quality of the udon here is generally solid, though serious noodle seekers tend to head to the smaller family-run shops in the city's back streets. Orne is most useful as a practical stop for picking up gifts or a quick meal before or after using the station.
