Takada Castle Site Park

Over 4,000 cherry trees create one of Japan's top three night-time blossom viewings, when thousands of lanterns illuminate the flowers reflected in the castle moats. The Meiji-era three-story tower, while not original, provides a picturesque focal point amid the spectacular spring displays.
