酸ヶ湯キャンプ場
Sukayu Campsite sits at the foot of Mt. Hakkoda in Aomori, open from mid-June through late October. The surrounding national park provides direct access to hiking trailheads, including routes to Jigoku-numa Pond and the Kenashitai Marshlands, with details available at the on-site information center. Basic tent sites and barrier-free sites with electrical hookups are available, along with large covered food preparation areas and outdoor cookstoves. Open fires are prohibited outside these designated areas. The nearby Sukayu Onsen, one of Aomori's most well-known hot springs, makes an easy complement after a day on the trails.
Wash thoroughly at the shower stations before entering the bath. This is non-negotiable etiquette. Bring a small towel but keep it out of the water.
