Overview
Dressing up in retro clothing and walking around Bungotakada’s Showa no Machi is a popular way to experience the area’s unique Showa era (1926–1989) atmosphere. Western fashion became increasingly popular in Japan during that time, and this influence can be spotted in the period-appropriate clothing and accessories for rent at the Tenjikan. The Tenjikan also offers recommended spots for taking photos while dressed in retro attire.
