Built in 1670, this school is a designated National Treasure. It is famous for its lecture hall with a gleaming floor of lacquered wood and its roof tiles made of Bizen pottery. The surrounding Kai trees turn a brilliant red and yellow in autumn, making it a spectacular seasonal spot.
