The grounds are open 24 hours, set among ancient cedar trees. Near the purification basin, find the 800-year-old cryptomeria tree, 42 meters tall and wrapped in sacred rope. The main deity is Kukuri Hime, a patron of matchmaking. Purify your hands at the basin before approaching the main hall.
Local tips
Purify your hands at the temizuya before approaching the main hall. Left hand first, then right, then pour water into your left hand to rinse your mouth.
