神仙沼
Boardwalk wetland at 750 meters above sea level in the Niseko Recreation Forest, open from early June to mid-October only, named for its mythical 'gods and hermits' atmosphere.
Shinsen-numa is a high-elevation marsh in the Niseko-Shinsennuma Recreation Forest, accessed from the Iwanai-Kyowa side by a gravel road that opens in early June after the snow melts. A wooden boardwalk loops past Shinsen-numa itself and the smaller Naganuma pond, with reflections of the Niseko range across both. The site closes in mid-October as snowfall returns. Bathrooms, viewing platform, and a 76-car parking lot at the trailhead.
The pond reflects clearly only in early-morning calm; afternoon wind ripples the surface. October peak is the first week of the month.
