The main draw shifts with the season. Over 65 cherry varieties extend the bloom into mid-April, weeks after other parks fade. In November, the Japanese garden’s maples reflect in the pond, rivaling Kyoto’s foliage. The tropical greenhouse is a worthy year-round detour. Bring a picnic; alcohol is prohibited.
Bring your own picnic. No alcohol or outside food vendors, but the greenhouse tropical section is underrated.
