Shikanoshima

The drive onto Shikanoshima is across a narrow sand spit with water on both sides. The island loop takes about an hour by car or bike, offering shifting views of Hakata Bay on the inside and the Genkai Sea on the outside. Look for small restaurants serving the day's catch.
