Overview
Natural geyser used for footbaths and cooking seafood.
The geyser here erupts approximately every 10 minutes, shooting hot water up to 15 meters high. What makes this 'Michi-no-Eki' (roadside station) unique is the 'Steam Cooking' area. You can buy fresh local scallops or salmon and cook them yourself using the natural volcanic steam. There is also a free footbath that uses the geyser's runoff.
