Saika Ramen Honten

Saika is the birthplace of Tenri Ramen, a spicy, garlicky style that developed in Nara prefecture and has since spread throughout Kansai. Their soy sauce broth comes topped with stir-fried Chinese cabbage, ground pork, and enough garlic and chili to make it memorably pungent. The humble shop maintains the original formula that spawned an entire regional ramen variant.
