Rokkatei Otaru Canal Store

Rokkatei is one of Hokkaido's most established confectionery names, and the Otaru Canal Store occupies their most atmospheric location inside a preserved stone warehouse with views across the historic waterway. The shop carries several Otaru-exclusive items, including the Yukikon Cheese biscuit, a buttery sandwich cookie made with local dairy, alongside their signature Marusei Butter Sand and seasonal wagashi-influenced sweets. A small cafe counter lets you eat on site with canal views. Mid-afternoon gets crowded, so mornings or after 4pm are considerably quieter.
