Roadside Station Yoshiumi Iki-iki-kan

A popular rest stop along the Shimanami Kaido cycling route, right at the foot of the Kurushima-Kaikyo Bridge. The main draw is the seafood BBQ terrace where you grill your own fresh catch, prawns, scallops, squid, and local fish, while looking out at the massive suspension bridge overhead. It is an ideal refueling point mid-ride, and the attached shop sells local citrus products and souvenirs. Expect to spend 1,000-3,000 yen depending on how hungry the cycling has made you.
