希望荘 (ラジウム温泉)
Therapeutic radium hot spring ryokan perched above Yunoyama Onsen with cable car connecting its two buildings and Ise Bay views.
Kiboso is a health-promotion ryokan in the Yunoyama Onsen area of Komono, Mie Prefecture, known for its naturally occurring radium hot springs with unusually high mineral concentration. The main building and annex sit at an elevation matching Komono Fuji (369m) and are connected by an in-house cable car. The open-air bath Jijo no Yu looks out over Ise Bay, and the facility also houses a radon mist sauna. First hot spring inn in Mie to earn government certification as a health-promotion facility.
Wash thoroughly at the shower stations before entering the bath. This is non-negotiable etiquette. Bring a small towel but keep it out of the water.
