Guided tours lead you through these limestone caverns where two million years of geological work have produced striking stalactite and stalagmite formations, many with playful nicknames like "Decorated Cake" and "Leaning Tower of Pisa." The highlight is an underground waterfall that echoes through the chambers. The cave stays a cool 15 degrees Celsius year-round, making it a refreshing escape from Gujo's humid summers. The tour takes about 30 minutes and follows a well-lit, paved path. Wear shoes with grip, the floor can be slippery from the constant moisture.
