オシンコシンの滝
Eighty-meter twin-stream waterfall on the highway into Shiretoko, listed among Japan's top 100 waterfalls.
Oshinkoshin splits into two parallel streams as it falls 80 meters down the cliff into a forested valley beside Route 334. A staircase climbs to a midpoint observation deck level with the upper falls. The falls are signposted from the highway between Utoro and Sashirui and have a roadside parking lot. Ainu name 'Oshinkoshin' means 'place where there are many ezomatsu trees'.
