Osakajo Hall

Large indoor arena built in 1983, sitting inside the moat that surrounds Osaka Castle Park. It seats around 16,000 people and has hosted everything from sumo exhibitions to classical concerts and major pop acts over the decades. The building itself is a rounded concrete structure that contrasts with the castle keep visible just behind it. On days without events, the surrounding park is a pleasant place to walk, with the moat, castle walls, and castle museum all within easy reach.
