Rugged 16th-century silver shipping port with mooring holes carved into the cliffs.

The rugged coastal inlet used during the 16th century to load Iwami's silver onto ships bound for Korea and China. Mooring holes carved directly into the natural rock face by ancient sailors are still visible. It is a quiet, scenic spot that belies its past as a bustling international hub.
