Oita City Art Museum

Oita City Art Museum sits on a hilltop within Uenogaoka Park, with views of the city below and a collection of over 3,000 works focused on modern and contemporary Japanese art. The permanent collection is especially strong in paintings by artists with ties to Oita and the wider Kyushu region, with several pieces designated Important Cultural Properties.
