Oishi Park

Beautifully landscaped lakeside park on the northern shore of Lake Kawaguchiko, offering unobstructed views of Mt. Fuji across the water. The park is the main venue for the Kawaguchiko Herb Festival in June-July, when vast fields of lavender bloom with Mt. Fuji as a backdrop. Other seasonal flowers include kochia bushes in autumn and tulips in spring. The free park features a café, shop, and walking paths along the lakeshore. On clear days, the reflection of Mt. Fuji in the lake creates the famous 'upside-down Fuji' view. The park is popular for photography throughout the year.
